Hello All,

The Libertarian Party of California is having a membership mailing party. We're sending out mailers to our membership in order to ask them to renew.

Most of you are probably not members of the Libertarian Party of California. And that's fine. Honestly, I am not asking for your help in order to recruit you. You don't need to join and spend the money, and frankly you don't need to become a member in order to be a volunteer.

Now, for your consideration (if you're interested about the mailing...), but certainly,\ not because I'm pushing it:

The benefits of being a member are-
1.) Get a subscription to California Freedom
2.) Become a Central Committee member of your local (county) Libertarian party, and therefore eligible to vote on local officers
3.) Eligible to serve at the local level as a local officer
4.) Become eligible to be a delegate to the California LP Convention where you can elect representatives to the state party. (Like me!)
5.) Eligibility to serve on the State Party as an elected officer
6.) Eligibility to being a delegate to the National Libertarian Party Convention

The costs of being a member:
1.) $55 membership fee -or-
2.) $25 membership fee if you don't want a subscription to California Freedom

That's really not important. What is important is that at 11:00 am this Saturday at the Panorama City LP office, we'll be folding letters, stuffing envelopes, licking stamps, and sealing those envelopes to go out in the mail to encourage our members to renew.

We have about 1600 letters to do and I can tell you, we could use a lot of help! :)

I'll be putting together a carpool if people want to carpool up to the office. 9:30 am we'll be departing.

Give me a call if you're interested in helping out and carpooling. We can meet at the parking lot at the Vons at the Long Beach Traffic Circle at PCH and Lakewood.
