Hello all,

Suzanne and I checked out SuperMex for Jun 28th and they're ready to set aside an area out on the patio for us. I've tried a couple times to check out the availability of the rooftop at Bacchus / Fringale in Naples, but like most nicer restaurants, it was closed on Saturday afternoon and last night, Monday evening. I'm going to try again tonight on my way home from work.

This past weekend the Libertarian Party had a street booth at the Palos Verdes Street Fair. I volunteered for a few hours, was able to register a couple of new Libertarians, and met Seal Beach Congressional Candidate Dennis Chang. He indicated he was interested in coming to our meetups, and organizing a similar meetup effort in Seal Beach. The more the merrier!

I am increasingly believing that SuperMex is going to be the better choice because there's parking, and because the meals do not cost a minimum of $25.00. Bacchus is a "nicer" restaurant, and while it'd be a glorious thing to be able to sit up on the rooftop with our group, in the setting sun and a warm ocean breeze, it may be beyond our price range to be going there consistently. However, as I said I'm going to check it out because we may all be pleasantly surprised.

I believe I was remiss in not organizing an election night party and also organizing an effort to call registered Libertarians to invite them to come out. Clearly I think we ought to do something like the on the night of the general election.

If you have any thoughts on the matter or alternative suggestions, please let me know. And don't forget to RSVP to our next meeting!

I hope you're doing well.

Best Regards,
-Zander
