Event Description Bring the Family & Enjoy a Day in the Country Barbecue & Pool Party: Noon - 6pm
Target Shooting: Noon - 3 pm only $30/Family, $15/Individual, Target Shooting $10 per person If shooting, please bring guns and ammo, ages 12 and above only, parental permission required. Call or e-mail to RSVP and get directions, do not rely on GPS or on-line maps. Bring food to share if you like.

Please note the April meeting has been moved up one week to accommodate our guest speaker's schedule. Our guest speaker is Todd Young, a Ron Paul Republican, who is challenging Baron Hill for IN 9th Congressional seat. We hope to have an interesting discussion, so please bring your toughest questions for Todd. Here is his web site if you'd like to preview the policy positions he is running on: http://toddyoungforcongress.com/issues Also, a couple of events in Bloomington this week that you may be interested in: 1. Bloomington Tea Party- Wed. 5-7p outside Baron Hill's office at the Showers Building. I will bring signs with Libertarian themes if you'd like to hold one. 2. Monroe County Campaign For Liberty organizational meeting- Sat. Village Deli 2p. Help organize a local chapter of the group Ron Paul founded after his 2008 Presidential campaign. Andrew Greene will be leading our March meeting starting at 6:30p. Please bring friends and your ideas about what you'd like to see our group involved with in 2009. What kind of events can we hold to present libertarian ideas in a way to get more people involved? What kind of coalitions and partnerships can we build with groups that share our policy position on a particular issue? What can we do for the next two years to make libertarian candidates more relevant in the 2010 elections than they were in 2008? Todd Young will be our guest speaker for April and we'll be moving that meeting to the 2nd Tues. (April 14th) to accommodate his schedule. Todd will be running as a Ron Paul Republican in Indiana's 9th Congressional District so please come with your toughest questions for him and bring all of your friends that may want to meet our next Congressman.
