In his next special, "Bailouts, Big Spending, and Bull," John Stossel examines the huge bailouts, medical marijuana, universal preschool, private highways, border walls, and the myth of the struggling middle class. The special was produced in partnership with Drew Carey and Reason.tv. A suggested donation of $10.00 will be asked at the door to support the Libertarian Party of Santa Clara County.

Three groups of new citizens are processed thoughout the day. We can distribute 1,000 or more flyers for the LP. Call Brian or email "Chair@scclp.or g" to get materials and instructions. You don't have to be up on all LP issues, it's mostly handing out flyers as people are leaving the ceremony.

We will be talking about sign placing, a treasurer for the campaign, brochures, precinct walking, phone banking, get out the vote (phone banking and drivers to drive those who can make it on their own to the polls) and all other campaign things. We will also discuss fund raising and get a feel for what skills our volunteers already bring to the table so we can get various tasks assigned to everyone.

Let's try setting up another Libertarian meetup in Campbell. This time hopefully both Brian and I won't be caught with a cold! Tax Freedom day comes a little early this year because some of us get tax rebate checks this year (for those earning under the salary cap.) Details about this ceremonious day are at the Tax Foundation's website: http://www.taxfounda tion.org/taxfreedomd ay/ We'll talk about how to get a Libertarian City Club going in Campbell and run candidates for City Council and school board.

Mike, TJ, and Kevin invite the Sunnyvale Libertarians to do our best to throw strikes and bowl a 300 at the Homestead Lanes right on the border of Sunnyvale/Cupertino. Tuesday nights from 9 PM-midnight are $2/game and $2 for shoe rental. It's a popular night, so we have to be a little early to get a lane. Games start at 9PM and we can stay up to midnight! An RSVP is required since we can setup the game at the counter. If you come late, you'll be on your own. Website: Homestead Lanes Join us as we bowl for liberty!
