The last Volunteer Day was a huge success. The Barr Campaign will now be holding regular volunteer days, and I will periodically (every two weeks or so) schedule one of these as a meetup so that we can hang out and work together.

A couple critical things -- it's OK if you have to come late (see the message below). Also, the campaign wants us to feel welcome at HQ, so even if you can't stay for long, you can come, meet some of the campaign team, and sign up for volunteering in the future.

The details below come from the Barr campaign and this event will be an EXCELLENT opportunity to network with other libertarian activists and provide CRITICAL support to the Barr campaign:

Dear Fellow Bob Barr supporters,

You're invited to come join us at the new Bob Barr 2008 Headquarters in Smyrna, GA. You'll have a chance to meet some of the campaign staff, check out the facility, and help Bob by participating in various volunteer activities.

We'll be kicking things off around 10 AM with some coffee and doughnuts. If you can't make it by 10, or only have an hour or two, please stop by anytime; the doors will be open and we'll be happy to have you. There will be plenty of volunteer activities to for everyone – bring some friends and we'll be sure to have a good time.

There will be food and drink provided for the afternoon, and everyone who comes will walk away with some Barr '08 merchandise.

(however in google maps, it thinks its at 2756) The link provided should show an image of the driveway you'll be pulling into – its a stone building behind a grassy knoll labeled as the Paces Foundation. Park behind the building and enter the the glass doors in the back (opposite the street). Suite 300 will be the first door on your left (we'll have signs up to help out too)
