Hello everyone.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that I will be taking a break from organizing the Greater Atlanta Libertarian Meetup.

It has been a great year and a half, however I need to spend a little more time on some other areas of my life.

I'll still be involved with the Libertarian Party, Ron Paulers, and the freedom movement, just need to regroup some. :-)

Hello Mark and everyone:

I wanted to get in touch and let you know who it is that just signed on to be the organizer of this group.

I first joined the LP about 10 years ago but have just gotten started in political organizing. I currently live in Oklahoma and ran as an independent for the OK House of Representatives. I did pretty well in a three way race. Since then I have stayed involved in politics through working on an initiative petition and working as a representative on the staff advisory council at my employer (a state university).

I am moving to Georgia with my wife this summer and will be attending UGA as a graduate student in the fall. However, we are planning on living in the Greater Atlanta area.

I believe in the LP and believe that it is truly the place to call home if you believe in principled, limited government and the power of human freedom.

However, I'm new to the area as you can see and would be happy to have some co-organizers. I scheduled a meetup on May 19th since we'll be in the area visiting. I hope that this transition, and all of the things going on in the political world, can be a good time for people to get pumped up again for the LP.
