What: Educate the "Walk to Save Education" crowd. When: Saturday, April 19, 9:00 AM Where: Click the link below to find out! Who should come: Everyone! Why: Don't let the unions twist the story. Meeting Description: The Peace Resource Center of San Diego has arranged a "Walk to Save Education." What they are saying..... "Teachers at Hoover High School are trying to get the word out to the general public, the government, and the media just how devastating the proposed budget cuts will be to the education of all children in California's public schools. We are operating with the blessing of the union, but their efforts are concentrated on helping all those that received pink slips (around 1,000 people). It is our goal to have all these pink slips revoked as the legislature or the governor himself reverses these proposed cuts." Richard Rider of San Diego Taxfighters has been kind enough to make a flyer specifically tailored for this event. We have to get out there and pass them out! If you are looking for an opportunity to do something Libertarian and FUN, then join us as we meet with these folks at Balboa park, and hand out our educational flyers to the on-lookers. There are thousands of libertarians in San Diego. Pick up your favorite Libertarian and come join us as we take action. Let's not let the labor unions have the only say in town. We will be there on site in Balboa at 9am. Call Jesse at 619 318-0928 to pick up the flyers for distribution. Thanks in advance for your enthusiastic participation.
