Message from C4L National:

NATIONWIDE MASS ACTION DAY IS TUESDAY, APRIL 28

For those who were unable to make tonight's call, or if you have additional questions, we will hold a second conference call tomorrow night:

Friday, April 24
5 pm PT / 7 pm CT / 8 pm ET

Dial: 218-486-3600
Code: 4094284

To all State and Regional Campaign for Liberty Coordinators:

Thanks to all who attended the call tonight. For those who weren't able to make the call, here's the latest news....

We have a huge opportunity in front of us. Things have moved very quickly and we apologize for the short notice, but your efforts have begun to pay off, the co-sponsors are flooding in and now is the time to strike!

Debbie Hopper and Jesse Benton reported the following:

As of 3 pm ET today, there were 88 Co-Sponsors on Ron Paul's HR1207 Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009 (33 signed on this week alone). Several more (some key Democrats included) have also committed to co-sponsor. Jesse has had meetings with several members of Congress and more are scheduled tomorrow and Monday. These meetings are going very well and Dr. Paul is so pleased with all of the support!

Nationwide Mass Action Day - Tuesday, April 28

47,000 petitions will be delivered to Congressional offices next Tuesday in Washington, D.C. We are asking that you organize on the same day for a Nationwide Mass Action Day - Tuesday, April 28 to deliver as many signed petitions as possible to district offices in your home state. Together, we can make a huge impact.

ACTION REQUIRED

* Assign a point person in every Congressional District.
* Gather as many signed petitions as possible in each Congressional District between now and next Tuesday.
* Visit Congressional District offices and deliver signed petitions on Tuesday to all who haven't co-sponsored (an updated list of co-sponsors will be provided to you). We need members of both parties to sign on!
* If your Congress member has already co-sponsored, visit their district office on Tuesday and thank them personally. This is very important in setting a positive tone and getting roll call votes when the time is right.
* Take video & photos of your visit, contact local media, and spread the news.
* Blog and share your experiences, your photos and videos.

An email will go out to all members to announce this Mass Action Day. In addition, a template press release will be provided to State Coordinators for use in your states. A list of members of the House Financial Services Committee will be on your online dashboards so you can see who on that committee has signed up as co-sponsor so far.

Tips -

A lot of people showing up at once to a Congress member's office shows our strength! Be firm but polite and deliver truckloads of petitions to their offices - show them that we are serious about requesting an audit of the Fed. Even if you only deliver a handful of petitions, being there in person is key.

If your Congress member has already signed on, after you visit their district offices and thank them personally, if there is a neighboring District that does not have a co-sponsor, assist them when they visit their district office to deliver their petitions.

The Campaign for Liberty petition can be found on the website here: http://www.campaignfo.... I have attached a sample one-page petition in Word format if you wish to use it. If you would like to change it or add the Congress person's name first then convert it to pdf, here is a free service: http://convert.neevia....

Go get 'em! :)
