Hi all - I know it's announced last minute, but come on by if you can!

Announcing "Freedom Conference 2009: Alternatives to G-20", the vision of a coalition of five Pittsburgh grassroots organizations and partners who believe in limited government and free market solutions to our problems, and work to present those.
The main event, scheduled for September 24 at Soldiers and Sailors Hall, will explain about the G-20 Summit and what it means for you. Few people realize the power that these people have, but at the conference it will be made clear what their proposals will cost, whether they will answer to you, the citizenry, and why you should be informed.
The Freedom Conference 2009 Planning Committee, comprised of members of 9.12 Project, Campaign for Liberty, Pittsburgh Tea Party, Republican Assembly, and Veterans and Patriots United, joined together behind free-market principles, defense of individual liberty, and desire for limited government invites people who share their vision to help them make this event a success, as they also invite those who want to learn more to join and become aware.
They will be hosting an organizational picnic at North Park on Sunday, August 16 at 4:00 PM at Pearce Grove, located near the boat house. (It is #91 on the map, in section F-3.) There will be burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks, and we encourage you to bring something to share if you can. Please bring your friends, your family, and your questions!
This will be an opportunity to learn more about why they are staging the Freedom Conference and the impact they hope to make with it.
