Event Description: The Libertarian Party of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County hosts a lively discussion panel on 2008 Presidential Election. Topics of discussion will include the process of becoming a delegate to the LPTN and LP convention, the membership criteria for voting qualifications at the LPTN and LP convention, the certification of non-national members as LPMNDC and LPTN members, the Presidential nomination process, and ballot access issues. NOTE that in accordance with LPTN bylaws, the chair of LPMNDC must submit to the secretary of the LPTN a certified list of non-national members who wish to qualify as members of LPTN by February 1. To meet the February 1 deadline, LPMNDC is adopting a deadline of January 25, 2008 at noon to compile a list of non-national members who are members of LPMNDC to be sent to the secretary of LPTN. Certification of members will be made at the January 5 LPMNDC meeting.
