But then again, I think we all like hearing what longtime politicians have to say, especially when speaking to their "base". My main question for Rep. Barr is what took him so long to extricate himself from the Republican Party when he saw how far they've drifted from their basic principles? Secondly, what has happened to his political conncections that have allowed him to be in congress for so long now that he's made the switch to the Libertarian Party? ”
