 ana this election year. Barr will appear at a public event on the campus of
  Valparaiso University at 6:30 p.m.\, Friday\, October 3rd.\n\n"We're very

 an Morris. "We've been working hard to bring Bob Barr to this area since hi
 s nomination in May. More people need to be exposed to his common sense app
 roach to government. We're pleased that our efforts are assisting with gett
 ing that message out."\n\nBarr's on-campus remarks to students\, faculty an
 d the public will be followed by a Meet and Greet with the candidate at Pes

 of Barr's participation in a campus event at the University of Notre Dame. 
 Barr will be addressing students and faculty at that afternoon speech then 
 traveling to Valparaiso for his public presentation.\n\nBarr represented th
 e 7th District of Georgia in the U. S. House of Representatives from 1995 t
 o 2003\, where he served as a senior member of the Judiciary Committee\, as
  Vice-Chairman of the Government Reform Committee\, and as a member of the 
 Committee on Financial Services. Prior to his congressional career\, Barr w
 as appointed by President Reagan to serve as the United States Attorney for
  the Northern District of Georgia\, and also served as an official with the
  CIA.\n\nSince leaving Congress\, Barr has been practicing law and has team
 ed up with groups ranging from the American Civil Liberties Union to the Am
 erican Conservative Union to actively advocate every American citizens’ rig
 ht to privacy and other civil liberties guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. A
