Just wanted to let other members of the La Porte County Libertarian Meetup group to know of some upcoming opportunities to meet one-on-one with Congressman Joe Donnelly during August & September.  These events might serve as great opportunities to directly discuss your favorite issues with Congressman Donnelly.

These Congressman Donnelly events are called: "Congress on Your Corner: A Chance to Meet One-on-One with Joe" and are scheduled for:

August 8,  11:30 am, Plymouth IN, Martin's Super Market, 865 E. Jefferson
August 29, 11:00 am, Delphi, IN, Wallman's Quality Food, 123 E. Franklin St.
August 29, 1:00 pm , Logansport, IN, Martin's Super Market, 3420 E, Market St.
August 30, 10:00 am (CDT), Michigan City, Al's Supermarket, 2600 Franklin St.
September 5, 10:00 am, Rochester Public Library, 320 W. 7th St, Room A

Please mark them on your calendar.  If any of you are able to attend any of these meetings and meet with our Congressman, that would be great!  I only ask that if you do, please let us all know of your results.

Also, in addition, the Congressman will be having two Town Hall Meetings:

August 12, 6:00 pm, Kokomo, Inventrek Technology Park Auditorium, 700 E. Firmin St.
August 26, 6:00 pm, Delphi, Delphi Public Library, 222 E. Main St.

I hope this information helps and hope that some of you will be able attend one or more of the meetings.  I will be attending the Aug. 30th meeting in Michigan City.  If you care to join me, please drop me a note.  I am also considering one of the Town Hall Meetings should my schedule allow and anyone would like to carpool from the LaPorte/South Bend area.
