Portland Expo Gun Show

This is a block of volunteer time to work the Libertarian Party of Oregon's booth at the Collectors West/Rose City Gun Collectors Gun Show at the Portland Expo Center

Admission is $8, but we will get vendor badges.

Please sign up to help out on a shift if at all possible. We need good people to meet and greet attendees and explain the value and dedication the LPO has to protect gun ownership as an individual right.

You need not attend for the entire day, any time you wish to volunteer is welcome.

We will be putting together a quick 'outreach' mailer, probably while watching a libertarian themed film of some sort. If you're nice, we could order a pizza.

Political Mail Seminar

April 1st, between 8am and 9:30am a seminar will be held by the USPS on Direct Mail and how to make it effective politically. The seminar is at the BPA Auditorium, which is located at 911 NE 11th Ave, Portland.

They advise that parking is very limited, and to arrive early or take MAX, which is close by.

Goal Setting/Fundraising Session

Instead of the regular Volunteer Night of stuffing envelopes, we will have a Goals Setting Session, to help articulate our goals and targets in the time between now and the Nominating Convention.

We will also be discussing how to implement new Fundraising goals and methods.

Envelope Stuffing Night Will be Wednesday.

table at portland peace rally and march

This rally is held by other groups. We have a booth at the rally but we need people to give out information at the booth. I am only able to be there in the morning so we need volunteers to host the booth in the afternoon and volunteers to take the booth away in the evening.

We could also make a strong showing of Libertarians who love peace.
Come, wear shirts, make signs, have fun.
