I tend not to join anything. Just like Groucho Marx--I wouldn't want to be a member of any organization that would want me to be a member. I have been a republican since the age of 12, but I hate the religious strait jacket that they have applied to conservative or classic liberal ideologies. I am seriously thinking of running for Congress--with the expressed intent of stirring things up and breaking things down. I have nothing left to lose, I believe I can present myself as a rational common man intent upon exposing political corruption. I have subscribed to Liberty and Reason for years, I am unhappy with the decision of the National Libertarian Party to run Barr this past election, and I know that libertarians are too intellectual for public consumption, BUT, this is what I am, and I cannot change. I think the public may just be ready to consider libertarianism.
