There are other quieter places in the neighborhood (like Cha Am Thai restaurant at Third and Folsom) that have full bars but less noise and crowd. Is that preferable, or should we stay at Thirsty Bear?

The Libertarian Party of San Francisco's Billion Dollar Giveaway

Join us on Tax Day, April 15, for our annual educational outreach effort at Market and Montgomery during the evening commute hours. We'll be giving out our "Million Dollar Bill" leaflets that educate commuters about the fact that the federal government spends a million dollars of our money EVERY 11 SECONDS. Add in state and local government spending, and our government hands out money faster than we'll be able to hand out our "Million Dollar Bills" to people on the sidewalk. Our goal is to give out 1000 leaflets, hence the title above. After the event, let's go meet up with the Liberty on the Rocks folks who will be just a few blocks away near Second and Market:

From 3 to 5 pm, we'll have our County Central Committee Meeting, where we'll be planning our April 15 Tax Day outreach, and visitors are welcome.

From 5 to 6 pm, we'll have some sort of social, TBA (whether we walk around the corner to Canton Dim Sum, a block up Folsom to Mehfil Indian Restaurant, or just cross the Archstone courtyard to Rob's apartment and order pizza).
