Introduction
i joined to listen/talk about america, about history and, yeah, politics. i want to talk to people who read widely and can disagree with civility. i'm tired of hate and morality and blame. i want to do the right thing, but i have to be free.

what a great group of people...the discussions were engaging and yet witty. i expected political debate and i got that, but i was surprisingly blown away by how friendly and welcoming everyone was...i would recommend this bunch of folks to anyone, regardless of party affiliation. i myself am not a libertarian, but i could listen to them all night. the group i met care about where this country is going, but are wonderfully free of any anger or bitterness. a lot of my assumptions were challenged and i came away from that night wanting more. the thirsty bear...reasonably priced drinks, great service and intelligent people without a hater in the group...who could ask for more? bottom line: an excellent evening.
