Who attended?

    •  Our meeting this month was a nice one. We had some of our college students from the Knoxville area in attendence and a variety of new faces also. Our main speaker for the evening was Mr. Joel Goodman from Johnson City and he will be running against the republican and Democrat nominees for the 1st district congressional house seat. Joel is currently fixing up the local train station and is running as an independent. Mr. Goodman once served as a county chair for the libertarian party in Florida and also ran for the same congressional seat in the last election as a democrat. Also vsiiting and speaking shortly was Mr. Sabri who will be running as a "Ron Paul" republican against Mr. Roe and David Davis in the primaries for the 1st district house seat. Finally, Mr. James Reeves gave a short update on his bid for a washington county commission seat. Overall it was a nice meeting and I enjoyed all the new faces as well as the regulars.
