Here is the Tea Party info (from the Young Republicans):
We're all invited to the TEA Party in Charlotte on Halloween Day (10/31/09 from 10:00 am - 12:pm). Hope to see you there!

We come from diverse backgrounds, but we believe in these basic principals:

1. The Constitution was written to limit the powers of the government, not the freedoms of the people.
2. Personal responsibility, Free Markets, and a Laissez-faire (hands off) government is what creates jobs, wealth, and greatness in America
3. Taxation should be fair, equal, and minimal (every dollar collected in taxation is a dollar that is taken from our productive economy)
4. Government spending should be done prudently, and it is criminal for politicians to be spending our kid's future on the immediate
5. Government involvement = politicians picking winners and losers = corruption

We will have some dynamic speakers, invite local candidates to speak, and in the spirit of Halloween, there will be a costume contest for the kids.

We will have an outreach table at the Celebrate Midland Magic Festival in Midland. The festival starts on Saturday Oct. 3rd (10:00 am - 9:00 pm) It ends on Sunday Oct. 4th (11:00 am - 6:00 pm)

The festival site is located behind the Midland Fire Dept. on Hwy 601 (12805 Hwy 601).

I have free passes that can allow up to 20 people the opportunity to attend a special advance screening of the new Bruce Willis movie "Surrogates".

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP. I will limit the number of RSVP's to 20.

The Libertarian Party of Cabarrus County will host an outreach booth at the Cabarrus County Fair. The fair runs from Sept. 11th through 19th. The booth is co-sponsored by the LPNC. The Campaign For Liberty will also be promoted as part of our Fellow Traveler program.
