Both the room rates and the convention package rates are going up after today, Thursday April 9.

We have reserved a block of rooms, normally $149/night, for the special rate of $99/night. These will sell out soon, and in any case the rates will return to normal starting Friday when rooms remaining in our block (if any) are returned to the hotel. I am told the hotel is filling completely up for the weekend, so if you don't reserve soon, you will have to stay at one of the other nearby hotels or motels.

The complete convention package is priced at the early-bird rate of just $238 through this Thursday. From Friday April 10th through Thursday April 23rd the price will go up to standard rate of $278; and after the 23rd the at-the-door price will be $308. Similar price increases apply to the other package options. The complete package includes all speakers and breakout sessions, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and the banquet in addition to all the convention and official committee business sessions. The golf event and dinner on Friday are separate. See the links above for more information.

So, if you reserve a room for two nights and get the full convention package, acting by the end of the day tomorrow, Thursday, could save you from $140 to $170 per person, depending upon how much longer you wait to register.
