The Yolo Libertarian August Meetup

This is our regular monthly meetup.

We get to know each other, discuss the news, political philosophy, upcoming events, and whatever else is on our mind.

Snacks and beverage will be provided.

Likely topics of discussion:

• Barr/Root campaign update (brief since we have a separate meetup just for this)
  
• Ron Paul (same caveat as above)
  
• Legislative action items
  
• Strategy for expanding LP membership and registered voters - setting of goals
  
• Potentially -- election of LP of Yolo County Central Committee officers
  
• Newsletter - The Yolo Liberty Chronicle
  
• Ideas for a member prospect kit and new member kit
  
• Tabling -
  
  
  
  • Assemble a standard "kit" for Libertarian tabling
    
  • It would be helpful if people have suggestions of literature.
    
  • My initial thoughts are that Operation Politically Homeless should be the core.
    
  • Another idea is to have a binder of newspaper stories showing attacks on liberty.
    
  • Bring suggestions for tabling opportunities (Farmers' Markets have been proposed)
