Oct 20 6:30 PM	October Meet-up 11 attended (est.) – 5.002 There is much to discuss at this months meet-up. The Libertarian Party of Lake County's Annual Convention is being planned. New officers will be elected and bylaw changes may be made. The Annual Convention date coincides with our usual monthly meet-up date. Due to this our November meet-up will be replaced with our annual convention. The new location will be posted soon. Through your participation we will create a resurgence of liberty in Indiana. Oct 9 5:00 PM	Liberty On The Rocks 100 attended (est.) – 5.001 A Special Vaccine information event is being held during October's Liberty On The Rocks Happy Hour. A large group of tables within the restaurant has been reserved so that families with children may attend. Bring your kids out for great Pizza deals and mix and mingle with our esteemed guest speakers. In addition to being a "Brain Expert" and vaccine injury treatment physician, Dr. Andrew Moulden was elected earlier this year to the head position of the Canadian Action Party. The CAP platform in Canada is very similar to libertarian viewpoints. Vaccine Expert, Mary Tocco, has joined forces with Sheriff Richard Mack to prevent mandated H1N1 (Swine flu) vaccinations in our country. Their nationwide plan works one county and one Sheriff at a time. Come on out and find out how to make a difference in our county. Share this message with your friends and family. Oct 4 6:30 PM	John Stossel -- Sinai Forum 200 attended (est.) – No rating yet The 56 th season of the Sinai Forum Presented by Purdue University North Central will present “An Evening with John Stossel” at 7 p.m. in the Elston Middle School Auditorium. Stossel recently joined the Fox Network and will have a weekly show on the Fox Business Network. He was a noted ABC News correspondent who was co-anchor of "20/20," and authored two national bestsellers. His topic will focus on the up-to-the minute questions on peoples' minds. He has earned 19 Emmy Awards, has been honored five times by the National Press Club for excellence in consumer reporting, was presented the George Polk Award for Outstanding Local Reporting and he received the George Foster Peabody award. His “20/20” reports addressed subjects ranging from addiction to parenting. He was featured in the recurring segment, “Give Me a Break,” presenting commentary – and a skeptical look – at an array of issues that range from pop culture controversies to government regulation. Stossel is also known for addressing issues that face Americans today and asking questions and getting answers. His first special, “Are We Scaring Ourselves to Death?” examined prevalent fears of things ranging from crime to chemicals. His “Blame Game” special examined the growing tendency to blame misfortune on others. In “John Stossel Goes to Washington," he looked at how under both Democrats and Republicans, government continues to expand. A book signing will follow Stossel's talk.
