Come celebrate the end of this amazing election season and honor the achievements of the VCLP this year! We've secured a location for our Election Night Party at a private residence in Agoura. We'll have a projector available to present the unfolding events of the evening on screen. The Party is free, but a $10 contribution per person to the Ventura County Libertarian Party is requested to help prepare for events in the upcoming year. Final details on time and other arrangements are forthcoming, but the location is entered for Meetup members only to see. Hope to you see you there and make sure to RSVP in advance. Bring your friends. ***Make sure to vote before the Party begins!***

The Libertarian Vice Presidential Candidate Wayne Root will be visiting California Lutheran University. The third largest official party in America, the Libertarian Party advocates a smaller government, fiscal conservatism, and social tolerance. Don’t miss the chance to hear Mr. Root give his perspective on the issues facing the USA today. His speech will be followed by a three-way conversation between the College Republicans, the College Democrats, and the Campus Libertarians and the event will be capped off with a Q&A between Mr. Root and the audience. The final Presidential debate will take place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. and we will show it live in the LPC Headquarters. The moderator for this debate is Bob Schieffer, CBS News Chief Washington Correspondent, and Host, Face the Nation. Refreshments will be provided. Plenty of off-street parking is available behind the building. The debate lasts 90 minutes and we will go to dinner afterward or order a pizza in to discuss the outcome and develop our talking points. Not close to the Panorama City office? Hold a viewing party of your own!

Our next meet-up will be a Rally and Fundraiser for Bob Barr and Wayne Allen Root, Libertarian candidates for President and Vice-President. An outdoor rally/forum with press conference will begin at 2:30 PM in Figueroa Plaza across from the Mission in downtown Ventura. Come show your support for these candidates. At 4:00 PM there will be an inside fundraiser in the Hush Restaurant's Meeting Room, on the Plaza at the Clocktower Inn, 185 E Santa Clara St, Ventura. Donation $50-$75. Come to the rally or fundraiser or both. Help spread the Libertarian message.
