Libertarian Party of San Mateo County November Meetup, scheduled to occur on November 20, 2008 6:30 PM has been cancelled. Please update your plans accordingly. There wasn't a meeting actually scheduled, this was an accident of using the automatic scheduling feature.

The LPSMs next meeting will be our annual meeting January 15th. All dues-paying members will receive a reminder postcard about this meeting early in December. The annual meeting is important because it where we elect the officers for the coming year.

Be sure to vote on Tuesday. Libertarians running for non-partisan (i.e. no party affiliations listed) include John Inks for Mountain View city council and Jack Hickey for Sequoia Health Care District. We do not have an election night party planned in San Mateo. The John Inks for Council campaign in Mountain View is holding an election night party. As many of you know, John Inks has been a long time libertarian and this year he's hoping to make the step up to city council after a hard-fought campaign. http://libertarian.meetup.com/285/
