Introduction
My name is Josh Weitzman, and I am the Chair of the Southwest Region of the Ohio party. I am trying to reach out to every libertarian in the area so we can make a stronger local party, and we can talk with others who share our beliefs.
How involved have you been in Libertarian politics and activism?

Very active over the last 4 years. I have been a member for 10 years. I have considered myself a libertarian for 13 years.

Since this is a social club, tell us a bit about your job and family.

I am engaged (getting married Sept 10) and have two dogs. I am a Financial Planner by trade, specializing in the Baby Boomer and Young Family markets.

What did you consider yourself before you considered yourself to be a libertarian?

I grew up in a very liberal household, however, I considered myself to be a moderate until I turned 16 and became a libertarian (yes, as a kid, I was interested in politics. Other than that I had a normal childhood).

Which political issues are most important to you? Which one is the most important to you?

Eminent domain abuse, War on Drugs (and crime that follows it), smoking ban (ban the ban!). wastful spending at state and local levels. And of course getting local Libertarians elected.

What most inspired you to be a libertarian? How long have you considered yourself a libertarian? Have you joined the party?

I switched over to being a Libertarian after I heard Steve Dillon in 1993 speak about the war on drugs. I joined in 1996 inspired by the late Harry Browne.

  •  Josh:

With Super Tuesday behind us, we?re reaching out to RP supporters, many of who are likely looking for an alternative. I hope you will take a look at www.GOOOH.com (go), a plan to replace the career politicians with true representatives of the people. You may not have heard of us before, but we have been gaining momentum daily.

There is more than one way to win a Revolution. We hope you will visit www.GOOOH.com, and then tell everyone you know about this innovative new system.

  •  HI, I'm Skip from the Marin County Ron Paul Meetup group. I came up with an idea that I'd like to see everyone participate in. What do you think about having an America Freedom to fascism DVD hand out on tax day April 15th. I imagine it working like this. Get the word out to every meetup group in the country, and have as many Ron Paul supporters as possible pass out as many copies of this film as possible out to people at post offices throughout the country on tax day.

  •  Thank you Josh! Your response is greatly appreciated and I look forward to the upcoming meet-ups. Take care everywhere!
